Chelsea has agreed terms on a £2.3 million deal that will see Romanian teenage sensation Cristian Manea move to Stamford Bridge when he turns 18-years-old in August.

Manea plays as a right-back for Viitorul Constanta, and has already made his international debut when he played for Romania against Albania last May.

Chelsea moved quickly to secure his signature knowing that he was also a target of Arsenal, Ajax and Udinese.

The Daily Mail reports that the Blues made their initial enquiries last September after seeing how well he was developing under the guidance of former Romanian international captain Gheorghe Hagi.

Manea is expected to pen a five-year-deal with Chelsea before being farmed out to either Vitesse or Real Mallorca.
