Champions League Betting talk

Following on from the two Champions League encounters that we witnessed last night in which Real Madrid managed to hold on despite a valiant effort from the Turks whose three second half goals kept their hope alive until Cristiano Ronaldo silenced the crowd as he put the ball past Galatasaray keeper Fernando Muslera on ninety minutes.  Ronaldo is always one of my go to bets when I bet Real Madrid matches, always choosing Ronaldo to score at anytime in the match, and while the odds are never that great he has hardly ever let me down. The match finished 3-2 in favour of the Turks, but Madrid win on aggregate 3-5 and is in the quarter finals for a record 24th time.
The nights second game featured Spanish minnows Malaga up against second place German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. Following a goalless draw in Spain both teams had everything to play for in the second leg with the Spanish side looking to have wrapped the match up by leading 2-1 going into injury time before a dramatic comeback from The Germans saw them net two goals in injury time reminiscent of Manchester United’s comeback win against Bayern Munich in the 1999 final. Dortmund remains the only unbeaten club in the competition following their 3-2 win.
The action tonight focuses on the other two matches where Bayern Munich travels to Turin with a two goal league from the first leg. Bayern have already won the Bundesliga following 11 games without dropping a point, so can now focus all their attention on winning the Champions League. With Juventus in good form in Seria a leading the league, and while I think they will score the German side just has to many counter strike options for me to see them giving away a two goal advantage which is why I will bet a 1-1 draw at 33/5 with Betfair.
The nights second game features PSG traveling to the Nou Camp with both teams on level pegging after the 2-2 draw in Paris while Barca have the slight advantage with the away goals, you know that Zlatan Ibrahimović loves the big stage, and that with Barcelona’s ever growing injury list I think they are in for a tough match whether Lionel Messi plays or not my gut feeling is that he will play, and if not you still have David Villa, and Cesc Fabregas who scored a hat trick against Majorca at the weekend to fill in.
I am going to bet both teams to score in this game at 5/6 with Bet Victor and for Zlatan Ibrahimović to score anytime at 11/4 with Coral. While I think Barcelona with win after last night’s events you never know with odds on PSG 17/5 with Bet365 it might be worth a couple of quid on the side.
