Arsenal, PSG

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani wants to join Arsenal in January according to the Daily Express, but with the French champions expected to ask for the £50 million they paid to Napoli for him back in 2013, Cavani is said to have asked the club to lower their valuation in order for him to be able to leave.

The Uruguayan international has been constantly linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes where he has to play second fiddle to Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic has been out injured for most of the season allowing Cavani to show what he is capable of by scoring 12 goals in 22 appearances.

Arsenal has consistently said that the money is available should manager Arsene Wenger wish to sign a player of Cavani’s calibre, but what remains to be seen is whether or not the French giants will do as Cavani asked and lower their valuation of him.
