Italian international striker is on the verge of a shock move to the MLS as Orlando City make moves to open talks with Liverpool for the 24-year-olds services.

Balotelli has struggled to get a regular place in Brendan Rodgers Liverpool team since moving from AC Milan last summer for £16 million.

And while it is obvious that the Italian is hugely talented, he fails to fit in with Rodgers high-pressing fast-paced style of play, which leads us here at Soccer Transfers to think that should Liverpool be able to recoup their investment they would have no trouble in letting Balotelli leave Merseyside.

Balotelli is believed to be keen on living in the U.S.A. with reports suggesting it is now up to his agent to get a deal done with Orlando City.
