Since arriving in London last summer from Barcelona Chilean international forward Alexis Sanchez has proved to be not only a star for the Gunners, but a favourite of the fans as well.
Following on from Alexis’s success after a £35 million bid from Arsenal, the club is now looking at the Gunners stars international teammate Charles Aránguiz according to reports in both Chile and Brazil.
Chilean media outlet La Tercera is reporting that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is being sent regular reports on how the 25-year-old central midfielder is playing for his club Internacional, with Sanchez pushing the Gunners boss to bring him to the Emirates.
Wenger was in attendance for the match in Brazil in which Chile beat Spain 2-0 with the £4.4 million rated Aránguiz scoring the South American’s second goal.
Arsenal may make a summer move given his reasonable price tag with more and more South American players seeming like bargains compared to their European based counter parts.
