Arsenal could make a shock loan move for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin, reports the Daily Mail.

Arsenal plot loan move for Turkish international

The Turkish international has endured a frustrating time since joining the Spanish Champions from Borussia Dormund and Arsene Wenger is set end his Spanish nightmare by bringing  him to the Emirates to help strengthen his central midfield .

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to North London rivals Tottenham as part of a deal to take Luka Modric to Spain but he had rejected their advances.

However it now seems that he has had a change of heart and is willing to have a short-term stint in England to ply his trade in the Premier League.

Madrid’s impending move for Modric is likely to limit Sahin’s, who only made two La Liga starts last season, chances even further, possibly leaving him surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu

The 23-year-old was left out of the Real squad by Jose Mourinho that travelled to Lisbon to face Benfica leading to fresh speculation about his future.
