Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is said to be angry over midfielder Jack Wilshere once again smoking after the 23-year-old was photographed with a shisha pipe in his hand at a London nightclub.
This marks the third time that Wilshere has been photographed smoking, and each time he has been given a lecture about it by Wenger who was himself once a smoker while in charge of Monaco.
The club is now aware that Wilshere has a problem with smoking, and that each time he is caught he promises to quit and then goes out and does it again.
Wenger will of course speak to Wilshere again and will have to field questions about the player during his weekly press conference ahead of the trip to White Hart lane for the north London derby.
The incident with Wilshere follows on from goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny being caught smoking in the shower following the loss to Southampton on December 28th for which he was fined £25,000 by the club and dropped from the team.
And while Wenger admits he is more worried about players drinking than smoking it is the third time the Arsenal manager will have to come out and defend Wilshere to the press.
