Should Manchester United sack Louis Van Gaal and employ Jose Mourinho, soon to be free agent PSG start Zlatan Ibrahimovic will join Manchester United according to a report by the telegraph.

The 34-year-old striker announced recently that he could be leaving PSG at the end of his contract this summer and Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter Milan, AC Milan among other clubs have all been linked to he signing of the high rated goal machine.

Manchester United according to reports this week have been working hard behind the scene to convince the Swede to move to Old Trafford. Reports claim the club has made an offer of £250,000 a week to the player which he has neither rejected or accepted. But if Telegraph is to be believed, it appears Ibra as the player is popularly called is waiting for Manchester United to make a decision on who will be their manager next season.

Reported Manchester United manager for next season Jose Mourinho has according to reports held discussion with the player in advance but with different rumours emerging every week about the future of the former Chelsea boss, Ibra has made it clear he won’t accept United’s offer until he knows if Louis Van Gaal will be at Old Trafford next season or not.

According to telegraph, Zlatan will not be joining Manchester United unless they sack Louis Van Gaal. This is because both Zlatan and Louis Van Gaal don’t get along. In fact, the Swede described the Dutchman as “a pompous ass” in his book and in an interview last year, he was quoted as saying “The way he is working is not the way I work.” in reference to the Manchester United manager.

Although 34 already, the quality of Ibrahimovic makes him the darling of many clubs. Reports already linked him with a ridiculous £1m-a-week deal to an unnamed Chinese club.
