PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic hits out at the clubs fans who he feels have become spoilt these past two seasons while insisting that he is not concerned by his lack of goals for the club.

Calling them club’s “caviar-eating” supporters after the team was whistled during last night’s 1-0 win over Rennes in the French capital where Ezequiel Lavezzi capped off a spectacular move to score the game’s only goal, which now sees PSG move one point behind Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.

Whistles rang out around the Parc des Princes for most of the match with the Swedish international insinuating that the fans had become spoilt by the clubs success.

“I’m disappointed,” the striker is quoted as saying by France Football. “We played a very good game and we won, so I do not understand.

“We do not understand what people want. Whether we win or lose, people whistle! Maybe they have the habit of eating caviar before we come?

“As the press must have noticed, we are more confident in our game. We are playing more like we have to. We did not score a lot of goals, but the most important thing is to register one more than the opponent and win.”

Ibrahimovic meanwhile has failed to find the back of the net in 582 minutes, the worst he has ever done since moving to France in 2012.
He is however not concerned about his form preferring to talk about the teams goal which you can see in the video below.

“The goal scored was amazing, probably the best since this season began,” the forward added.

“Personally, I feel very good. I hit a lot of through-balls tonight and I tried to create opportunities for my team.

“Now we must just focus on us. Obviously Marseille and Lyon are there fighting for the title too, but if we play as we know how, I’m not worried.”
