Zambian international defender Stophira Sunzu has claimed that Premier League trio Arsenal, Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea are all interested in signing him.

Zambia centre-back claims Arsenal, Chelsea interest

The 22-year-old was a vital member of the Zambia side that shocked the world by claiming the African Cup of Nations earlier this season with Sunzu scoring the winning penalty.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, Sunzu said: “I met recruiters from Chelsea, Bolton and Arsenal in my hotel room in Gabon.

“If those clubs want me, they have to contact Mazembe [Sunzu’s club].

“I will join the club that offers the most money and gives me the best chance to progress. Whoever signs me won’t regret it.”

Sunzu, capped on 15 occasions by the Zambian national team, currently plays for Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
