It would now appear that Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle appears to be stuck at Stamford Bridge at least until the summer despite manager Jose Mourinho giving little playing time while also leaving him out for the FA Cup loss to Bradford City at the weekend.

Schurrle was supposed to be on his way out of the club along with fellow outcast Mohamed Salah after Bundesliga side Wolfsburg were said to be prepared to pay 23€ million for the young German.

Now however Wolfsburg’s sporting director Klaus Allofs has denied the rumours telling Bild and Kicker: ‘There’s nothing to [the speculation]. Even if we were interested, we’d certainly not be alone.’ ‘[It’s] a very clear no.’

Now with only one week remaining in the winter transfer window it is looking as though Chelsea may not be able to sell any players despite trying to buy Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa.
