Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is still having to wear a protective boot for his foot after having it broken playing for England in a friendly against Denmark says the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old Gunner came off second best following a crunching tackle from Liverpool defender Daniel Agger during England’s win over Denmark on March 5th and was following scans ruled out injured for six weeks.

Arsenal have sorely missed Wilshere in their line up winning only two of their last five matches since losing the England star to injury, but are back to the winning ways and still in the hunt for the Premiership title after beating Spurs 0-1 at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Arsenal will face one of their biggest tests this season when they travel to Stamford bridge on Saturday to take on Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea who are flying high after moving on  to the last eight of the Champions League following their 2-0 defeat of Istanbul’s, Galatasaray Tuesday night.

The match will also have a significant impact on Arsenal Wenger as well marking his 1,000th game Arsenal manager since taking over from Bruce Rioch in 1996.
