Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised his sides “exceptional” performance following the Gunners 0-2 win at the Etihad today.
Arsenal took the lead from a Santi Cazorla penalty after Nacho Monreal was brought down by City Captain Vincent Kompany on 24 minutes, with a glancing header from Olivier Giroud on 67 minutes wrapping up all three-points for the visitors.
Before today’s match Arsenal had managed to take only seven points from their last 16 league matches against Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd.
