The former Porto and Chelsea manager Andres Villas Boars has dismissed talk of him moving to big spending French side Paris Saint-Germain.

The French Champions were thought to have made AVB an offer to manage the club following the departure of Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid.

Despite being a good friend of Nasser Al Khelaifi PSG president, when speaking to the Portuguese press AVB was quoted as saying he is quite happy at Tottenham.

“I have had a friendship for some time with the president of PSG,” Villas-Boas is quoted by A Bola. “He is a friend and we speak regularly, but my commitment is with Tottenham.

“It was the club that allowed me to return to the Premier League and I feel good there.”

The former French National team coach Laurent Blanc is now thought to be the man in line for the job, but there is still talk of Arsene Wenger taking over when his contract with Arsenal expires next year.
