Arsenal has been shown the green light to go after Valencia defender Jose Luis Gaya after the 19-year-old refused to sign a new contract with the La Liga club.
Arsenal have apparently been scouting the left-back for quite some time along with Spanish giants Real Madrid, with reports saying that the Gunners made an offer in January, but it was declined.
At the time Valencia were not willing to sell in the hope that the youngster would sign a new deal with the club, but now that has no happened they will look to sell him in the summer for around £14 million a price Gunners boss Arsene Wenger can live with.
