Two top strikers linked to Arsenal

The summer transfer season may seem along way of but with most clubs just having 13 more Premiership matches to play it will be here before you know it.

The latest two names being linked with a move to the Emirates are Andre-Pierre Gignac and Fernando Llorente.

According to reports in Spain, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen to add to his front line and considers the Marseille striker and Juventus’s Spanish international as the right type of player he needs.

Gignac has sparked interest from both West Ham and Liverpool, and is out of contract in the summer, meaning that Arsenal could pick him up for nothing.

Fernando Llorente however is a different kettle of fish, but could be available in the summer as the Italian Champions look to revitalise their strike force after talk of current top scorer Carlos Tevez returning to Argentina to play for Boca Juniors.

Arsenal rivals Tottenham are also interested in the 6ft 5in former Athletic Bilbao player, but Juventus will not let him leave unless they get a least £16 million for him.
