Angel Di Maria suffered yet another blow to his Manchester United career after putting in yet another poor performance against Arsenal in Monday night’s 2-1 FA Cup quarter final loss.

First there was a blatant penalty attempt after the Argentinian dramatically went down in the box without being touched, and then what could be the final straw for Manger Louis van Gaal the 27-year-old got sent off after tugging on referee Michael Oliver’s shirt.

According to reports in Spain’s Mundo Deportivo, the winger has been put up for sale by United and that he may be used as a bargaining chip for Barcelona’s Pedro after the winger hinted at a move away from the Nou Camp.

“I am going through a difficult period,” the attacker told BeIn Sports.

“It is clear that I am having a tough time to find a place in the team at the moment. I have had few chances to play this season.

“I will consider my options in the summer and will then talk with the club to discuss my future.

“But I am focused on Barcelona for now and keen to play my part. I must wait for my chance and take it when it comes.”
