Arsenal has received a blow to their chances of signing Alexis Sanchez’s former Barcelona teammate Pedro after the Spanish forward has decided to remain at the Nou Camp.
The Gunners were strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old after it was reported that he was looking to leave Barcelona unhappy with new manager Luis Enrique not playing him.
Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo is now claiming that Pedro and Luis Enrique have cleared the air and the Spanish winger is now happy to remain with Barcelona.
Despite the fact Pedro has only made 15 appearances this season Barcelona want to hang onto their man and will resist all offers this January.
This now means the Gunners must now look elsewhere if they want to bring in an attack minded player.
