Tottenham, Hulka Zenit ST. Petersburg, Willian, Chelsea,

After missing out on attacking midfielder Willian to Chelsea, perhaps the one player that we never thought of as going to the newly cash rich Tottenham Hotspur has been staring us in the face all along, and that is Brazilian striker Hulk who used to play for Andres Villas-Boas at Porto.

Hulk currently plays in Russia for Zenit Saint Petersburg, and would be more than happy to be reunited with his former boss AVB, before the transfer window closes on September 2nd.

Hulk would most likely cost Tottenham £30 million which seems like a bargain when you consider some of this season’s major signings.

Spurs are also trying to sign AS Roma’s Erik Lamela, but Hulk would be a major signing also and will fit into the Premiership the same way that Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke has, causing no end of problems for defenders.

Tottenham have done the best bit of business in selling Gareth Bale, by going from a one horse team to a group of players that have all the top clubs frightened.
