According to reports Tottenham is pondering the idea of making a move for Manchester United wide-man Ashley Young.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to add some depth out on the wing, with a possible deal for Crystal Palaces Yannick Bolasie being talked about.
The sticking point or rather the means of not even trying to negotiate is that the south London club is looking to receive £25 million for the 26-year-old, which has the Daily Mirror saying they could shift their attention to Ashley Young.
The 30-year-old winger has been reborn at Old Trafford since the arrival of Louis van Gaal, yet with Memphis Depay now at the club and the imminent arrival of Pedro, not to mention Juan Mata being played further out wide means that he could be surplus to the Dutch manager’s requirements and allowed to leave.
If Tottenham do decide to try and sign him you would expect given his age he would be available for a reasonable fee.
