Stoke City goalkeeper will not join Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal to be their No.2 goalkeeper according to fellow Stoke City teammate Charlie Adam.

The Bosnian international has only one year left on his current contract at the Britannia Stadium and is being linked with a move to one of the Premierships top clubs.

With a value of around £15 million, of the teams mentioned it would only be Liverpool and Arsenal where he would have the possibility of getting the start each week while Manchester United and Chelsea both have the 27-year-old pencilled in as a bench warmer which has led his Potters teammate Charlie Adam to suggest he will sign a new deal at Stoke.

When asked about this Adam said: “Yeah. He’s a top goalkeeper. All of those clubs have goalkeepers though.

“Wherever he goes, he has to make the right decision.

“He had the opportunity to go to Chelsea a number two a couple of years ago, and he refused that because he wants to play. It’s a big decision on where he goes.”
