French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are said to be preparing bids for Real Madrid’s Argentinian international Angel Di María fearful that he will have a good showing in Brazil and that the Spanish giants will then ask more for him according to Spanish sports newspaper MARCA.

It is not only the two French teams that are interested in the 26-year-old either with both Arsenal and Manchester City expected to be in the running for the attacking midfielder who is said to be worth around 40 million euro’s.

At the moment everyone at Madrid is fully focused on the Champions League final in Lisbon with Di Maria most likely going to the World Cup not knowing where he will be playing next season.

Since the arrival of Gareth Bale Di Maria has been forced to spend most of his time on the bench despite not deserving to be dropped and has told friends that he is open to a move, and with Real Madrid considering trying to sign Liverpool’s Luis Suarez the sale of Di Maria and Karim Benzema would make perfect sense.
