Andre Villas-Boas says he is only interested in coming to Liverpool if they promise to give him time.

Time's on my mind: Villas-Boas wants Liverpool to offer him longevity

Former Chelsea boss Villas-Boas is due to be interviewed this week.

But the Portuguese was sacked by Roman Abramovich just eight months into a three-year contract and he also saw how Liverpool’s owners booted out Roy Hodgson after six months.

His agent Carlos Goncalves says Villas-Boas, who is also wanted by Roma, is only interested in going to a club where he will be allowed time to make an impression.

“What we are looking for is a strong technical plan, that is solid and durable,” said Goncalves.

“What we are interested in is a technical project, its outlook and a situation that has longevity.”

He is one of the favourites for the Kop job, along with Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers.

However many fans would prefer to see Rafa Benitez return to Anfield and have launched a ‘Talk to Rafa’ campaign.
