It was mentioned months ago, but now could become a reality as Atletico Madrid weigh up an offer for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla.
The La Liga club knows that they are going to lose Turkish national team captain Arda Turan to possibly Manchester United or Chelsea, leaving Atletico trainer Diego Simeone a large creative hole to fill, and despite the fact Cazorla is 30-years-old Simeone sees the Arsenal player as the ideal replacement.
Add to this the fact that for Cazorla it would allow him to finish his playing career in his homeland Spain, which according to Spanish newspaper AS say would be hard to say no to, and you now have Arsenal without one of their best players.
