THEO WALCOTT has still not signed a new Arsenal contract.
And there are fears the England winger will be the next big-name star to leave after Robin van Persie’s move to Manchester United.
Arsenal manager Wenger admitted: “We are still trying to extend his deal.”
Wenger has lost skippers Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas in the last 12 months, while midfielder Alex Song is close to a £15million switch to Barcelona. Walcott, 23, has just a year left on his deal.
Wenger added: “When a player doesn’t want to stay you either force him or you let him go.”
