According to the Daily Mail Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have entered the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
According to Sky Sports just a couple of days ago Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was close to signing the 24-year-old for £21.5 million.
Bayern now joins Manchester United, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid in the race to sign Gundogan this summer with the North Rhine Westphalia club eager to sell now rather see him leave for nothing next season when his contract is up.
