LINE-UP: Manchester United team to play Shrewsbury Town (predicted)

Manchester United have been told they can sign high rated Juventus left-back this summer if they are ready to cough out as much as £40 million which is the price Juventus thinks the Brazilian is worth. With Luke Shaw out since September 15 2015, Manchester United have been linked to the signing of one left back to the other.

Last summer, before Alex Sandro went to Juventus, Manchester United were said to be ready to activate his release clause with Porto but the player instead went to Juventus where he is likely to win the Serie A title this season. But news reports in the last few days claim Manchester United have not given up on signing the high rated South American. Manchester City have also been linked with the signing of the player but Juve has made it clear they won’t be selling the player for lower than his £40 million release clause with the Italian.

With no one sure if Luke Shaw will ever be the same again after his big injury added to the fact that before the big injury, he was always suffering from one injury to the other, United certainly need to sign another left back this summer and Sandro would definitely be a good signing.

But realistically, I don’t think Manchester United will be signing Sandro unless Juventus decides to lower their demand. Sandro is a good player no doubt but certainly not a player worth the reported £40 million price tag Juventus has put on his head.
