German tennis legend Boris Becker was spotted wearing a Chelsea Head-hunters scarf while attending the clubs Champions League match midweek.

The Skulls and Head-hunter firm logo dates back to the 1970’s when hooliganism that was rife in English football.

When asked about it by German Newspaper Bild, the now 47-year-old said it was a simple mistake.

‘I wasn’t aware of that,’ the tennis ace old told Bild. ‘I own at least 10 scarfs and just grabbed one I bought at a stall outside the stadium a few years ago. I am the last to support hooligans.’

Becker could probably not have made his fashion faux-pas at a worst time as Chelsea tries to distance themselves from the racist incident that occurred on the Paris Metro last month.
