Liverpool’s young Spanish footballer, Suso, is reported to be on the verge of an Anfield departure as it is almost certain that he would leave the Merseyside club to AC Milan in the next 9 months, according to The Express.

As a free agent, Suso would move to AC Milan in June next year or January 2016.

Under Brendan Rogers, the 20-year-old Suso hasn’t had playing time much to his desires but is no doubt a good player.

He scored in the 23 minutes cameo appearance for Liverpool in the Capital One Cup win against Middlesborough. Suso was on loan last season at Almeria, scoring three goals in 33 appearances at the club.

Liverpool under Brendan Rogers were very impressive last season almost clinching the English Premier League title coming second on the log behind Manchester City, the eventual Champions.

A major factor responsible for the successful run last term is the Sturridge and Suarez (SAS) connection in their forward line but this season, the absence of Suarez through a departure to Barcelona and Daniel Sturridge through injury has had an effect on the potency of the Liverpool attack this summer.

The signing of Mario Balotelli from AC Milan and Rickie Lambert from Southampton hasn’t really alleviated the goal scoring problem and now the manager, Brendan Rogers would look to bring in an attacker with a semblance of Suarez in term of the goal scoring rate.

Another major worry for the Merseyside club is the threat of losing Raheem Sterling, who is said to be attracting interests from French Champions, Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Many fans have called on Brendan Rogers to play Suso more to increase the chances of winning games and scoring goals, but a groin injury which ruled him out for 2 months marred his chances.

For AC Milan, the attacking midfield prowess of this young Spanish player, Suso would be so much appreciated and needed as the team also is in a resurgent mission.

The Milan-based club sold Mario Balotelli to Liverpool this summer and the cordial relationship is expected to take prominence here, as Suso seeks a move to Milan.

Before his loan spell at Almeria, he made 14 appearances with Liverpool and scored no goal in that period. Suso has played for almost all the cadre level of football for the Spanish national side.

From U-17 through U18, U19, U20 to U21, the exciting player has grown to become a mature player.

The AC Milan move for Suso, is a very good decision, considering the number of attacking midfielders who the manager, Brendan Rogers, rate more highly i.e. Lazar Markovic, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Jordan Henderson, Phillipe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling.

To break into this Liverpool team for a player like Suso, would mean waiting for months and years to be called upon.

At AC Milan, Suso may get regular playing time and he could just get his career to a jump start, especially now that the Italian team really desires a return to European football.
