Tottenham has received a big boost as they prepare for Saturdays north London derby with Arsenal at White Hart Lane with the return of Nabil Bentaleb to the squad.

The Gunners meanwhile are devastated by the news that Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez will be missing due to a hamstring problem as the two teams battle it out for a place in the top four.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has the opposite problem to Wenger after confirming that Algerian international midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is available for selection after having not played since the 5-3 win over Chelsea.

This now means that Benjamin Stambouli, Mousa Dembele, Paulinho and Ryan Mason will all be fighting for a place in the Argentinians team.

Pochettino has no other problems elsewhere with a full squad to choose from including Emmanuel Adebayor who missed out on a deadline day transfer to West Ham.

The Argentine said: “All the players are available and this is a very good thing for us. It’s difficult for me to now pick the 18 players, but it’s better to have that competition.”
