Manchester United’s Spanish midfielders Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are reportedly weighing up their futures at Old Trafford should Louis van Gaal remain as club manager.
The former Holland national team coach is increasingly coming under pressure following United’s run of six games without a win that has some quarters betting that he will not be able to maintain his position should the Red Devils lose away to Stoke City on Boxing Day.
Former Chelsea star Juan Mata has been a regular in van Gaal’s team, but Herrera seems to be unable to nail down a place in the Dutchman’s team since signing from Athletic Bilbao back in 2014.
This now has the Times claiming that the pair will look to leave Old Trafford should Van Gaal’s still at the helm in January.
