Partizan Belgrade midfielder Danilo Pantic is claiming that he is joining Chelsea before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The 18-year-old has refused to sign a professional contract with Partizan despite the club offering him £670,000 to sign for them.
Pantic said: “In the situation we are now in, going to Chelsea would be the best solution for me and for Partizan.
“I am not sure when I will be back in Belgrade, I believe in the next day or two, and a transfer should be done this week.”
Meanwhile Chelsea is still negotiating with Fiorentina for Juan Cuadrado while trying to offload Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah.
Schurrle was rumoured to be on his way to Wolfsburg, but the German side says it is unable to meet Chelsea’s £25 million asking price.
