It might just be the kind of story the tabloids like to print to get people talking, but for something like this to come out so soon after Manchester United’s dismal performance in the transfer market will only add to United fans worry about the season ahead.
The U.K.’s Daily Star newspaper are claiming that a friend of United star striker Robin van Persie told them that the Dutch international is not convinced about new manager David Moyes.
The Star claim RVP’s friend said: “Robin isn’t happy and when that’s the case he can’t hide it on the pitch.
“When he’s frustrated he is capable of doing something silly, and you could see that against Liverpool.
“He feels it isn’t the same with the new manager as he misses working with Fergie, who he really loved playing under. Some of Moyes’ training methods are not to his liking either.”
