With the transfer window in Russia not set to close till tonight big money club Anzhi Makhachkale are set to sign Christopher Samba.
Sources out of Russia are claiming that Anzhi are willing to pay Blackburn £7.5 million for the 27-year-old Samba.
The only thing they are waiting for is the medical report on the Congolese defender before it is a done deal.
The up and coming Russian side has secured the services of Dutch ace manager Guus Hiddink so big things are expected for the cash rich club.
