HARRY REDKNAPP was SACKED by Tottenham Hotspur.
The 65-year-old yesterday insisted he would never walk out of White Hart Lane.
But Redknapp was dumped following showdown talks with chairman Daniel Levy.
Redknapp met Levy earlier today to thrash out his future with just a year left on his contract.
The former West Ham and Portsmouth boss thought he had done enough to earn an extension.
But Levy was believed to be unhappy that Redknapp failed to secure Champions League football despite occupying third spot for most of last season.
Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League — in the final Champions League spot — but missed out after Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in last month’s final.
Redknapp is still negotiating a severance package and is expected to officially leave tomorrow.
One bookmaker suspended betting on the next Spurs manager as money came pouring in for Everton boss David Moyes to take over.
