Spanish website Don Balon has come out with a headline grabbing story this week suggesting that Spanish giants Real Madrid is preparing a bid for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
Don Balon first raised the story last weekend, when they suggested that the Chilean international would love to return to Spain despite a disappointing time at Barcelona.
For their part Arsenal has let Real Madrid know that Alexis is not for sale and that he is regarded as a pivotal member in manager Arsene Wenger’s team.
Don Balon say that Los Blanco’s will not take no as an answer and will actively pursue the Gunners star up and through the January transfer window.
Meanwhile the Daily Star is promoting a similar story except they claim Madrid is willing to offer Russian forward Denis Cheryshev and cash to land Alexis.
We find both story’s hard to believe as there is no way Arsenal would consider selling their best player, but what the Gunners must be careful of is not winning any titles, which could make their top players consider moving to another club.
