As Manchester United fans prepare for Real Madrid to reignite their interest in goalkeeper David De Gea after seeing a deal last summer fall apart at the last minute, the Daily Star is reporting today that it is not only the Red Devils shot-stopper that the Spanish giants have their eyes on.

Number one summer transfer for Los Blanco’s trainer Zinedine Zidane is assumed to be Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, with the French international high on a list of several clubs wish list including his home town side Paris Saint-Germain.

If Real Madrid fail in their attempts to get the French youngster to move to the Santiago Bernabeu Spanish media outlet Fichajes via the Star claim their will turn their attention to Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.

The Spanish youngster has found himself being one of United walking wounded this season with his playing time being interrupted by one injury after another.

The 26-year-old has however shown glimpses of brilliance since his £30 million move from Athletic Bilbao in 2014 and has the potential to be one of Europe’s top midfielder if he can remain fit.
