Chelsea keeper is not happy on the BENCH

Don’t panic Chelsea fans it is not Belgium number one shot stopper Thibaut Courtois that the Spanish giants as interested in, but Blues number two keeper Petr Cech who Los Blanco’s have identified as the keeper they would like to take over from Iker Casillas next season.

Real Madrid have for some time now been linked with Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea as a possible summer target to replace the soon to be 34-year-old Casillas, but have now apparently according to reports turned their attention the Chelsea No.2.

Recently Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said it would take a big bid to make him sell the Czech international while at the same time saying he understood Cech’s desire to play and would respect his wishes.

Given Manchester United’s reluctance to part with De Gea it would appear as if Real Madrid could be making a smart move for the Chelsea keeper who is certainly good enough to play at the top level for a few more years giving Real Madrid plenty of time to cultivate his replacement.

It could also be a move that would be almost impossible to turn down for Cech, and should Carlo Ancelotti’s team make a reasonable offer we do not see Jose Mourinho standing in the way of what could be a win win for both teams.
