Real Madrid asks Manchester United for more time

Spanish giants Real Madrid have asked Manchester United to extend the deadline on them having to make a decision on whether or not to activate their option for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to Mexican network TDN.

Hernandez joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan last summer and has just now started to deliver for Los Blanco’s scoring a string of important goals.

The former Guadalajara player’s recent form now has Real Madrid considering activating their option of making his loan move permanent, before other interested parties can approach United for the 26-year-old.

According to TDN the deal expired yesterday with Real Madrid asking to be allowed to wait till the end of the season before making a final decision.
