Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted that Welsh international Aaron Ramsey proved him wrong after scoring a magnificent goal in the Gunners 4-1 Champions League win away to Galatasaray in Istanbul Tuesday night.

The Gunners midfielder released a thunderbolt of a shot from 29 yards out that gave Turkish goalkeeper Sinan Bolat no chance of saving.

The 65-year-old Frenchman revealed later that he was not pleased when he first saw Ramsey ready to shoot from distance telling talkSPORT: “Honestly, I felt at the time when he took the decision [to shoot] that it was not the best decision, but he proved me wrong.”
