RAFA BENITEZ told his players to carry on fighting after nervous Chelsea reached the Europa League last four.

Frank Lampard and David Luiz had to be pulled apart as they clashed at half-time, but boss Benitez said: “It’s always good to have players arguing about things that happen on the pitch, so you can correct things at half-time.

“We were talking about that, adjusting positions. So it’s fine, it’s not a problem.”

Petr Cech and Yossi Benayoun stepped in after angry Lampard pointed an accusing finger at the Brazilian as the teams were leaving the pitch.

Benitez insisted he was never concerned during the 3-2 defeat despite his team conceding three second-half goals.
