QPR

Despite failing to remain in the Premiership I expect QPR to do what Newcastle United did back in 2009/2010 when in their first season in the Championship they ran away with the title.

QPR got it painfully wrong last season after some bad decisions by former manager Mark Hughes upset the boat with the huge fluctuations in players salary’s bringing in new blood on double the money many of the current squad were earning.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp took over late in the season, yet it was too late to avoid the drop.

Now that mercenary’s like Chris Samba have moved on the air has cleaned at Loftus road leaving behind a string of top quality players that would fit well into any mid-table Premiership club.

Despite his temperament Joey Barton is back from his time playing in France, and is far better than the average midfielder plying their trade in the second tier of English football.

The arrival of Jermaine Defoe and Scott Parker from Spurs can only add to the quality of players the clubs has and with Ladbrokes offering odds of 11/2 for the Hoops to win the Championship it is certainly a bet I think is well worth a shot.
