QPR’s stars will decide today whether to snub Chelsea duo John Terry and Ashley Cole.

QPR stars plot to blank JT and Ash

The players are to hold a dressing room meeting at training to plan a strategy over the race row involving Anton Ferdinand and JT.

A Hoops source said: “There is a lot of support among the players to back Anton. Feelings are running very high.”

Some QPR players do not have a problem with shaking Terry’s hand.

But Ferdinand will not shake hands with Terry or Cole, who supported JT at his trial.

The Blues captain was cleared by a jury of racially abusing Ferdinand, 27, at Loftus Road in October but faces an FA investigation.

Boss Mark Hughes will canvas his players’ opinion today.

Depending on what they say, QPR could ask the Premier League to scrap the pre-match handshakes, just as they did for April’s Stamford Bridge clash.

Yesterday, both clubs urged their fans to behave and warned against obscene chanting.
