PSG makes SHOCK BID for Manchester United target

Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow in their desire to re-sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba after the Italian champions revealed that they have received a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for the 22-year-old French international.

Pogba came up through Manchester United academy before moving away on a free transfer to join Juventus two years ago, and has now become one of the most sought after players in Europe.

Former Czech international and now Juventus director Pavel Nedved has confirmed that the French champions have made an offer for Pogba which should if United were serious in trying to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford worry them due to the fact that the team is backed by the oil-rich state of Qatar.

Nedved said: ‘Yes, PSG sent us an offer.

‘But Paris is not the only one. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested.’
