FC Porto, Chelsea, MAN United, Mangala, Mourinho, Moyes,

It Looks like it is last night’s nil nil draw all over again as Chelsea and Manchester United fight it out to see who can be the club to sign French defender Eliaquim Mangala.

Porto’s highly sought after centre-back has been linked to Chelsea since the arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho, but United manager David Moyes had scouts sent out to watch the 22-year-old last weekend in Porto’s 3-0 win over Maritimo.

Mourinho is very interested in Mangala but so are Manchester United and Barcelona who also had scouts at the match as both club look to find a long-term centre-back for their clubs.

The Portuguese club has repeatedly said that Mangala is not for sale yet would find it almost impossible to keep hold off him should an offer in excess of £12 million come in.

Porto insists Mangala is not for sale but may struggle to resist offers in excess of £12m for the France international.
