Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is not happy with his position as a bench warmer in Arsene Wengers team and will be looking to move to another club if he is not able to get more playing time at the Emirates.

The German international World Cup winner made just 14 Premier League starts for the Gunners last season and is yet to start a single match this campaign, and has only played 25 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

The 29-year-old seemed happy with his lot after winning the FA Cup last season, but has now told German television channel RTL that his desire to play regular football could see him leave the club before his contract is up in 2016.

“I am a full-blooded player, a street player and I love competition, if I don’t have that competition every weekend then a change must occur.”

“We will have to see,” he said when asked if he would see out his contract. “It is certainly something one has to think about.”

Arsenal travels to Stamford Bridge at the weekend, where they will play Chelsea hoping to close the gap on the early title leaders.
