In a news that many Chelsea fans won’t be happy about, Chelsea has reported agreed a deal to sell Eden Hazard for a cut price to Real Madrid this summer. According to reports, the former Lille star will be joining Real Madrid once the European Championship is over and the Blues will only receive £32m from the la liga giants.
According to OkDiario, both Chelsea and Madrid have been locked in discussion for sometime and were finally able to reach an agreement last week. The report went further to stay that Eden Hazard has already agreed personal terms with the 10 times UEFA champions league champions.
OkDiario’s journalist Eduardo Inda wrote in his report “Eden Hazard is done. The amount has been agreed with the player and with Chelsea.”
Although Eduardo Inda and Okdiario are not known to be reliable, it will however be annoyed if it is true that Chelsea are selling Hazard for as cheap as the quoted 32 million amount. Hazard might have had a poor season but he is worth way more than £32 million.
To put this into perspective, Real Madrid are reportedly demanding £60 million for James Rodriguez who is not better than Hazard and equally had a very poor season. Chelsea will be stupid to be allowing the Belgian to go for less than £45 million.
He is worth way more than £45 million but his value has dropped as he has had a bad season and he seems to me like he will force a move if Chelsea does not sell him easily. £45 million should be the minimum Chelsea should be looking to accept for him if he does not want to stay.
