Unhappy on loan Liverpool goalkeeper who has been sent for a year to play for Napoli after Belgium international Simon Mignolet took over the top spot between the posts at Anfield.

The Spanish international who hopes to be Spain’s number two for the World Cup next summer believes that like him Suarez will leave Liverpool this summer, but it will be under Liverpool’s terms.

Reina said: “It looks like he’s going to leave, but at the end of the day the club says he’s their players and they must take the decision.”

Reina is meanwhile happy to be reunited with his old manager Rafa Benítez and is looking forward to Champions League football and challenging for the Italian title with Napoli.

“It’s a new challenge right now for me and I’m looking forward to playing in the Champions League which was a missing competition for us in the last three or four years,” Reina added.

“It’s what every player can wish to play every year – the Champions League is the biggest tournament at club level and to fight for the Scudetto is one of the targets as well.”
