Pep Guardiola has hinted he could leave Barcelona after his side were beaten by Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The Spanish giants looked certain to qualify for the final in Munich as they went 2-0 up against 10-man Chelsea on the night, turning the deficit of the first leg into a 2-1 aggregate lead.

But goals from Ramires and Fernando Torres denied Guardiola the chance to win the trophy for the third time, and he admitted his future at Camp Nou is now in doubt.

He said: “My future? I’ll make a decision in the coming days.

“I’ll talk with the president and we’ll decide what’s the best for the club.”
Sadness

Guardiola was happy with his side’s performance, but felt it just wasn’t to be as the holders lost their grip on the trophy.

“The first thing I feel is huge sadness,” added Guardiola.

“I think we played exceptionally well. We have done everything we possibly could to reach the final. Finals are great but we’ll have to watch this one on TV.

“We have played well recently but it wasn’t enough. Sometimes football is like this. This year it was not our turn. This year it seems like we could couldn’t win.”
