After making 246 appearances for Arsenal, Mathieu Flamini seems to have played his last game for Arsenal. Various reports claim the Frenchman will be leaving Arsenal at the end of the current season when his existing contract expires.

According to daily star, the former AC Milan star already started looking for a club and his representatives have been talking to Panathiniakos of Greece for over a month.

The talks have reached advance but Flamini’s wage demands seems to be stalling the talks. The former AC Milan star is said to be demanding a pay package of £60,000 a week plus other performance related bonuses. The same amount he currently earns at Arsenal according reports.

Pana reportedly are still very much keen on signing the former France international as they want him to play alongside former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien but they want him to significantly lower his wage demand. The Greek club are said to be ready to give him a three years contract.

Rosicky, Arteta alongside Flamini will be leaving Arsenal this season as their contracts will expire by June 30 and there have been no talks of a new contract offer from Arsenal. In their stead, Arsenal have already been linked with the signing of Granit Xhaka and N’Golo Kante.
